This Privacy Policy explains how Finwise Finder ("we", "us") collects, uses and shares information when you use finwisefinder.com (the "Site").

Information we collect

• Information you give us: your first and last name, email address, phone number, and your answers to our questions (the kind of help you are looking for, your current situation and your age range), plus your consent choices.
• Information collected automatically: IP address, approximate location (country/region), browser and device type, pages viewed, the date and time of your visit, and the advertisement or link that brought you to the Site.
• Cookies and similar technologies: we use the Meta Pixel and a click-tracking service to measure how our advertising performs. These tools may set cookies and record that you visited the Site or submitted the form. We do not send your name, email or answers to Meta.

We do not ask for, and you should never send us, your Social Security number, bank account or card numbers.

How we use information

• To send you the information you request and show you options and providers that may fit your answers.
• To keep a record of your consent and protect against fraud and misuse.
• To measure and improve our Site and advertising.

How we share information

When you submit the form we send you to a partner's website so you can view options. We may share your answers with partners that provide information about financial assistance, grants, education funding, benefits and related resources, and with service providers that host our Site, store our records, or measure advertising (for example Cloudflare, Google and Meta), only as needed to provide those services. We may also disclose information if required by law. We do not sell your personal information for money.

How long we keep it

We keep lead and consent records for up to 24 months, or longer if required by law, then delete them.

Calls and text messages

We ask for your phone number on our form. We (and partners acting for us) will only call or text you about assistance resources and offers if you tick the separate, optional box agreeing to that. Giving that consent is never required to use the Site. You can withdraw it at any time by replying STOP to any text or by writing to [email protected]. We do not sell or share mobile numbers or text-messaging consent with third parties for their own marketing.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to access, correct or delete your information, or to stop emailing you, by writing to [email protected]. Depending on your state, you may have additional rights under laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act; we will respond to verified requests as those laws require. You can also limit ad tracking in your browser or device settings and in your Meta ad preferences.

Security

The Site uses an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, and we limit access to lead records. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Children

The Site is intended for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
